Last weekend was a blast! I got to go to the 4th annual Los Angeles County Air Show in Lancaster, CA and the people put on one fantastic show! It was the first place I got to see the Thunderbirds this year as the team celebrated the U.S. Air Force's 70th Anniversary known as "Breaking Barriers." A lot of rare things happened that weekend as I got to see a 2-ship A-10 Heritage Flight with the P-38, an F/A-18 TAC Demo which featured a VFA-14 "Tophatters" jet, F-35 sonic boom, and the list goes on! The wind was insane on Sunday but I managed to fight through it! During my visit I also got to check out some other cool places like the Lancaster Jethawks Stadium which had a former NASA F/A-18 on a pole, the Edwards AFB Century Circle which featured the rare YC-15, and Mojave Air & Space Port which had an F-4 and rare Convair 990 on display. You can check out my LA County Airshow gallery in the 2017 Airshow Season album and my other galleries from Lancaster, Edwards, and Mojave in the Gate Displays album.
